The virtual National Council Session will be here in almost a month, and it’s time to get things going into high gear! Whether you’re a National Delegate or someone who is interested in the proceedings, there’s a lot of information coming down the pike. Here are some of the highlights:
Keynote Speakers Address
Normally held during the NCS, the Keynote Speakers address will be held on Saturday, October 3 from 12 to 1:30pm EST. The speakers include:
- Kathy Hopinkah-Hannan, National Board Chair, GSUSA
- Judith Batty, Interim CEO, GSUSA
- Dianne Belk, Founding Chair, Juliette Gordon Low Society

National Council Session Schedule
The National Council Session schedule has been released! See this article for the entire schedule running October 23 – 25.
National Board Slate Update
Since Judith Batty has become our interim CEO, there have been some changes to the slate:
- Noorain Khan, the current Board Secretary and previously the nominee for 2020–2023 Secretary, has been nominated for Second Vice President in place of Judith Batty.
- Ráchel Roché Walton, a current member-at-large and previously on the 2020–2023 slate as a member-at-large, has been nominated for Secretary in place of Noorain Khan.
- Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson has been nominated as a member-at-large for the 2020–2023 triennium in place of Ráchel Roché Walton.
